Immigration Regulations
Visas are required by all nationalities.
If visas are to be obtained via AsianTrails in Bangkok, the following items must be supplied one week before travel to China:
Visas can only be requested via AsianTrails in connection with the booking of travel arrangements.
The Chinese embassy in Bangkok needs 5 working days to process any visa. It is therefore recommended to plan for sufficient time in Thailand before travelling to China since the passport is required for the whole time.
If such arrangements are not possible, it is suggested one secures the visa before the arrival in Thailand at the nearest Chinese embassy.
Health
No vaccination are presently required.
Airport Tax
US$ 4.- per person for domestic flights.
US$ 12.- per person for international flights.
